Student Aid/Scholarship Information

It’s that time of year again and these sites might help in the search for education funding. There are other free sites on the ‘net and many which charge a fee. Abut, these appear to be high quality resources.

www.estudentloan.com has a "loan finder" service which they claim is totally free. Information about Pell Grants, Stafford loans and more. Worth a look.

www.fastweb.com also claims to be free. Start by checking out the Parents page (click on "Parents" on the bottom of their home page). Lots of good information and resources here!

www.easi.ed.gov is run by the U.S Department of Education. Presents information on what they call the four steps in the Education Learning Cycle; Planning, Applying, Receiving and Repaying. Click on "Getting Around " to get started. Free.

www.finaid.org is also a free site. Known as FinAid! The SmartStudent Guide to Financial Aid, it claims to be the most comprehensive annotated collection of information about student financial aid on the web. Based on the awards and quotes from some major newspapers this may well be THE site for you
